Derrick Perdue currently lives in Franklin Kentucky where he is a 6th grade math teacher at Franklin-Simpson Middle School. On top of teaching, Derrick has a passion for working with the youth group at Fountain Head. Derrick is married to Caitlyn Perdue, who is a 3rd grade reading teacher at Simpson Elementary School in Franklin, Kentucky. Derrick received his undergraduate degree from Freed-Hardeman University in Middle Grades Education and Youth Ministry. He also has a Masters degree from Freed-Hardeman University in School Counseling, and is currently pursuing his ED.S in School Leadership/Administration from Western Kentucky University.

Derrick served as the youth minister at Fountain Head from 2011-2013 before he took the youth ministry position at the Juno Church of Christ where he served from 2013-2016. Derrick returned to work with the youth at Fountain Head in 2016. Derrick loves working with the youth at Fountain Head and strives each and every day to provide opportunities for the youth of the congregation to grow emotionally and spiritually. Derrick considers Fountain Head his home and believes the work of growing the hearts and minds of young people to be of utmost importance.
